We were founded as Sunwest Benefits Consulting Inc. in 2002 as an employee benefits consulting firm. With our interactive and detailed style of consulting, our clients asked for help with their retirement plans in addition to their insurance plans. In 2013 Sunwest Retirement Consulting, Inc. was formed as a specialist in retirement plan design, implementation, and overall management to serve our client’s needs.
Working closely with our client’s leadership teams, we learned to understand the stress placed on these teams in navigating the effective communication of benefits, workplace policies, operations and employee engagement. With these needs in mind, our human resources consulting firm was born in 2017 to ensure the vision and operational details of employee engagement matched the goals of the leadership team.
“Sunwest”, being a common name in our valley, the decision was made to re-brand to Arcwood®. As 2018 ended, Sunwest was completely retired, the transition to Arcwood was completed. We now serve our clients under Arcwood Benefits Consulting, Inc.; Arcwood Financial, LLC; and Arcwood HR, LLC.
We consistently succeed in developing strategic benefit plans with systems to improve efficiencies and compliance. Our team holds HIPAA and ACA certifications, AIF®, CFP®, REBC®, and PHR® designations, and understand the value we bring to employers to keep them complaint with federal and local laws.
