Peter Rowe is the founder and CEO of Arcwood, a distinguished firm comprising Arcwood Benefits Consulting, Inc.; Arcwood Financial, LLC; and Arcwood HR, LLC. Peter established Arcwood with a comprehensive vision to address the diverse needs of clients through a unified approach. This includes offering effective employee benefits packages that are perceived as valuable rather than merely increasing premiums with reduced benefits, providing comprehensive human resources support, and delivering expert retirement planning to ensure employees can retire on their terms.
Peter specializes in designing sustainable employee benefit plans in collaboration with his clients’ leadership teams, focusing on enhancing the well-being of their employees. Under his leadership, Arcwood serves privately held companies ranging from 25 to 2,500 employees, with an impressive average client tenure of over a decade. The firm is also a member of a national practice organization dedicated to transforming and improving access to healthcare services.
Peter is deeply committed to the benefits industry and has served as Legislative Chair for the Arizona chapter of the National Association of Benefits and Insurance Professionals (NABIP). In this role, he represents the organization at both State and Federal Capitols, engaging with policymakers to advocate for progressive changes in the health insurance sector.
His contributions to the field have been recognized with the prestigious Soaring Eagle award from The Leading Producers Round Table of NABIP, the 2020 NABIP Legislative Achievement Award, and several professional certifications, including those in Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, Self-Funded, and Consumer Driven Health Plans.
Peter holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Entrepreneurship and Small Business from Northern Arizona University, graduating in 1989. He has maintained Accident/Health/Life/Securities licenses since 1999. Outside of his professional pursuits, Peter is a dedicated husband and father of two daughters, an accomplished black diamond skier, master swimmer, enthusiastic backyard farmer, and East Coast Swing dancer.

Brandon Oliver, CFP®
Partner
Brandon T. Oliver is a Managing Partner at Arcwood Financial LLC, a Registered Investment Advisor Firm. He is an Investment Adviser Representative and holds life and health licenses, as well as the Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) and Nonqualified Plan Consultant (NQPC®) designations.
Brandon earned his bachelor’s degree from Northern Arizona University in 2002 and began his career in the securities industry by supporting local schoolteachers with their district 403b programs. He later led the Orphaned Client Division at a regional broker-dealer, assisting clients nationwide who lacked representatives. Additionally, he contributed to the recruitment and branch development of new advisors for the same firm.
At Arcwood Financial LLC, Brandon specializes in Group Retirement Plan investment menu design and monitoring, plan design, plan provider selection and monitoring, participant education, and committee governance.
Outside of work, Brandon enjoys pursuing his various hobbies, including developing his own watch company. He also cherishes spending time with his wife, Summer, and their sons, Hayden and Remy, in Central Phoenix, AZ.

Diana Durham, PHR, is a Managing Partner at Arcwood HR, LLC, which she and Peter Rowe started in February 2017.
With over 25 years of experience as an HR Generalist, Diana is a seasoned professional dedicated to enhancing organizational success through strong leadership, effective communication, and a commitment to creating a collaborative environment.
Before transitioning into the HR field, Diana gained valuable experience working in operations, providing a solid foundation for understanding the intricacies of both front-line and strategic needs of an organization. Her experience expands a variety of industries, from hospitality to manufacturing, healthcare to professional services, and organizations from 5 to 1,000 employees.
Diana has always been a true HR Generalist and is adept at handling anything that gets thrown her way, whether it be an employee relations issue, payroll administration and implementation, compliance with federal and state laws, developing HR policies and procedures or designing performance management programs.
Diana holds a bachelor’s degree in finance and marketing from Central Missouri State University. She has also been PHR certified since 1999. Outside of work, Diana enjoys spending time with her husband and their dogs, traveling to new destinations, racing in an outrigger canoe, and dancing whenever she can.

Jessica Cheney, REBC®

Jessica Cheney is a seasoned leader at Arcwood, where she has dedicated over 20 years of service and currently holds multiple key roles, including Director of Operations, Vice President of Benefits, and Privacy Officer. She plays a pivotal role in the operations of the organization’s three critical divisions: Arcwood HR, Arcwood Financial, and Arcwood Benefits, helping to drive strategic direction and operational excellence across the company. With more than 30 years of experience in the insurance industry, Jessica combines unparalleled expertise and a passion for innovation to deliver exceptional results for clients.
Jessica began her career in 1993 at BlueCross and BlueShield of Arizona, gaining valuable insights into the insurance industry. She later advanced her career at Black Gould and Associates, where she worked closely with carriers, agents, and clients to provide comprehensive benefit solutions to large employers. Joining Arcwood in 2005, Jessica has been instrumental in shaping the company’s operational and benefits strategies. She leads everything from quoting and onboarding to renewal management and regulatory compliance, ensuring smooth and successful outcomes for clients.
As the Privacy Officer at Arcwood, Jessica is responsible for maintaining the company’s compliance with HIPAA regulations. She plays a key role in safeguarding sensitive health information, overseeing privacy practices, and ensuring that Arcwood’s operations meet strict confidentiality and security standards. Her work in this area is vital in maintaining the trust of clients and ensuring the company operates within all legal and regulatory guidelines.
Jessica holds Accident/Health and Life Producer licenses and boasts an extensive list of certifications, including HIPAA Privacy and Security, Benefits Account Management, PPACA, Self-Funding, Voluntary Worksite, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion and Wellness. Her REBC (Registered Employee Benefits Consultant) designation exemplifies her commitment to upholding the highest professional standards in employee benefits and insurance.
Jessica is highly involved in industry associations and has served in leadership roles, including as Awards Chair, President, and Past President of the Greater Phoenix Association of Health Underwriters (GPAHU) and as President of the National Association of Benefits and Insurance Professionals Arizona Chapter (NABIPAZ). Currently, she serves as Region VII Awards Chair, and her leadership has earned her national recognition, including the prestigious Presidential Citation Award.
Outside of her professional achievements, Jessica enjoys outdoor activities such as hiking, biking, and camping in Arizona, as well as supporting local sports teams. She cherishes her time spent with family and friends, which enriches her life beyond the workplace.
