Peter Rowe

Peter Rowe is the founder and CEO of Arcwood, a distinguished firm comprising Arcwood Benefits Consulting, Inc.; Arcwood Financial, LLC; and Arcwood HR, LLC. Peter established Arcwood with a comprehensive vision to address the diverse needs of clients through a unified approach. This includes offering effective employee benefits packages that are perceived as valuable rather than merely increasing premiums with reduced benefits, providing comprehensive human resources support, and delivering expert retirement planning to ensure employees can retire on their terms.

Peter specializes in designing sustainable employee benefit plans in collaboration with his clients’ leadership teams, focusing on enhancing the well-being of their employees. Under his leadership, Arcwood serves privately held companies ranging from 25 to 2,500 employees, with an impressive average client tenure of over a decade. The firm is also a member of a national practice organization dedicated to transforming and improving access to healthcare services.

Peter is deeply committed to the benefits industry and has served as Legislative Chair for the Arizona chapter of the National Association of Benefits and Insurance Professionals (NABIP). In this role, he represents the organization at both State and Federal Capitols, engaging with policymakers to advocate for progressive changes in the health insurance sector.

His contributions to the field have been recognized with the prestigious Soaring Eagle award from The Leading Producers Round Table of NABIP, the 2020 NABIP Legislative Achievement Award, and several professional certifications, including those in Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, Self-Funded, and Consumer Driven Health Plans.

Peter holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Entrepreneurship and Small Business from Northern Arizona University, graduating in 1989. He has maintained Accident/Health/Life/Securities licenses since 1999. Outside of his professional pursuits, Peter is a dedicated husband and father of two daughters, an accomplished black diamond skier, master swimmer, enthusiastic backyard farmer, and East Coast Swing dancer.

Brandon Oliver, CFP®

Brandon T. Oliver is a Managing Partner at Arcwood Financial LLC, a Registered Investment Advisor Firm. He is an Investment Adviser Representative and holds life and health licenses, as well as the Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) and Nonqualified Plan Consultant (NQPC®) designations.

Brandon earned his bachelor’s degree from Northern Arizona University in 2002 and began his career in the securities industry by supporting local schoolteachers with their district 403b programs. He later led the Orphaned Client Division at a regional broker-dealer, assisting clients nationwide who lacked representatives. Additionally, he contributed to the recruitment and branch development of new advisors for the same firm.

At Arcwood Financial LLC, Brandon specializes in Group Retirement Plan investment menu design and monitoring, plan design, plan provider selection and monitoring, participant education, and committee governance.

Outside of work, Brandon enjoys pursuing his various hobbies, including developing his own watch company. He also cherishes spending time with his wife, Summer, and their sons, Hayden and Remy, in Central Phoenix, AZ.

Diana Durham

Diana Durham, PHR, is a Managing Partner at Arcwood HR, LLC, which she and Peter Rowe started in February 2017. 

With over 25 years of experience as an HR Generalist, Diana is a seasoned professional dedicated to enhancing organizational success through strong leadership, effective communication, and a commitment to creating a collaborative environment.

Before transitioning into the HR field, Diana gained valuable experience working in operations, providing a solid foundation for understanding the intricacies of both front-line and strategic needs of an organization. Her experience expands a variety of industries, from hospitality to manufacturing, healthcare to professional services, and organizations from 5 to 1,000 employees. 

Diana has always been a true HR Generalist and is adept at handling anything that gets thrown her way, whether it be an employee relations issue, payroll administration and implementation, compliance with federal and state laws, developing HR policies and procedures or designing performance management programs. 

Diana holds a bachelor’s degree in finance and marketing from Central Missouri State University. She has also been PHR certified since 1999. Outside of work, Diana enjoys spending time with her husband and their dogs, traveling to new destinations, racing in an outrigger canoe, and dancing whenever she can.


Jessica Cheney

Jessica Cheney is the Chief Operating Officer at Arcwood, where she oversees the organization’s three key divisions: Arcwood HR, Arcwood Financial, and Arcwood Benefits. With over 30 years in the insurance industry, she brings unparalleled expertise and leadership to her role.

Jessica’s career began in 1993 at BlueCross and BlueShield of Arizona, where she developed her skills and gained valuable industry insights. She further advanced her career at Black Gould and Associates, working with carriers, agents, and clients to deliver comprehensive benefit solutions to large employers. Since joining Arcwood in 2005, Jessica has been instrumental in managing all facets of client operations, from quoting and onboarding to renewal management and regulatory compliance. Her strategic initiatives have consistently aligned with both client and company goals.

Jessica holds Accident/Health and Life Producer licenses and has earned a broad range of certifications, including HIPAA (Privacy and Security), Benefits Account Management, PPACA, Self-Funding, Voluntary Worksite, and Wellness. Her REBC (Registered Employee Benefits Consultant) designation underscores her commitment to maintaining the highest professional standards.

Jessica is actively involved in industry associations, having served as Awards Chair, President, and Past President of the Greater Phoenix Association of Health Underwriters (GPAHU) and as President of the National Association of Benefits and Insurance Professionals Arizona Chapter (NABIPAZ). She is now the Region VII Awards Chair, and her leadership has led to national recognition, including the prestigious Presidential Citation Award.

Residing in Arizona, Jessica enjoys outdoor activities such as hiking, biking, and camping, along with supporting local sports teams. She values these moments spent with family and friends, which enrich her life beyond her professional accomplishments.

David Casanova

Business Development Manager

David Casanova is a dedicated advocate for community and youth development, with a rich history of involvement in various professional endeavors. He has been a valuable member of the CONNECT Board at the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Valley since 2018, where he works tirelessly to empower and support local communities.

Originally hailing from Connecticut, David made a pivotal decision in 2013 to relocate in pursuit of career growth and new opportunities. His educational foundation was built at Trinity College in Hartford, CT, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in political science in 2008. During his time at Trinity College, David’s passion for excellence extended to the baseball field, where he demonstrated his commitment and dedication as a Varsity player for four years.

In his professional journey, David spent five successful years as a regional sales consultant at MassMutual, specializing in retirement services. Seeking a fresh challenge and further professional development, he transitioned into the real estate industry, where he excelled as both an agent and a manager. His ability to build relationships and connect with clients was evident in his success.

Eager to broaden his horizons and explore a different facet of the business world, David found his calling as a Business Development Manager at Arcwood. This employee benefits consulting firm specializes in healthcare, retirement, and outsourced HR services, allowing David to harness his talent for connecting people and fostering community engagement. He thrives on bringing individuals together and facilitating relationships within the community.

In his personal life, David is married to wife, Priscilla. They share their lives with their cherished 8-year-old German Shepherd, Jo, and take pleasure in venturing into the great outdoors for camping adventures, particularly in the northern woods.
